How To: Backup Bookmarks in Firefox 3

What You Need:
Mozilla Firefox 3

To backup your bookmarks follow the below steps.
1. Click on Bookmarks on the bar above the address bar.
2. Click on Organize Bookmarks to get to this without the mouse use “Ctrl+Shift+B”.
3. Click on Import and Backup.
4. Click Backup then Save to preferred location.

NOTE: This will backup to a JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) file

To backup to a HTML file follow the below steps.
1. Click on Bookmarks on the bar above the address bar.
2. Click on Organize Bookmarks to get to this without the mouse use “Ctrl+Shift+B”.
3. Click on Import and Backup.
4. Click Export HTML then Save to preferred location.

    Thank you! After searching forever your instructions were the best I found for backing up my FF3 bookmarks.
